About me I am a world class snuggler! Wherever you are is where I want to be and I think I am the perfect size to fit in your lap. I am treat motivated so teaching me new things is a breeze. I have learned sit, down, paw, spin. Stay and roll over are a work in progress. I go right in my crate for meal time and meal time is one of my favorite times!! I am potty trained and working on my leash manners.
05/22/2025 She went to a training session and boy was she anxious at first. We learned she REALLY loves to work and it helps take her mind off her anxiety of new places. She got on all the agility items by the end of the 30-minute session and I received a few other ideas to work on at home. She slept all day after that! I finally found a toy she loves to play with, a big, tough donut toy! She loves the weird squeak sound this one has and will stomp on it to make noise. |
05/22/2025 From foster: She has gone to 2 PetsMart training classes thanks to One Love Arizona and is working on her anxiety in new spaces. We have another class next week. We visited Kiwanis park to meet a friend and she did much better settling more quickly than she did the last time we were there. |
05/21/2025 PetSmart Trainer Notes: Miley is very anxious when in New environments. She has some anxious habits like pawing and whining for comfort but once she got more comfortable her personality comes out a lot more. We worked on some basic obedience and taught her a safety/center command to help with her anxiety. She does well with treat scatters to self soothe as well! |
05/16/2025 FROM FOSTER: Miley makes us laugh all the time. Her little underbite and puppy dog eyes usually end up with her getting lots of treats, which she is learning we would like her to be a little more polite taking. She really loves her snacks and gets excited. She loves to cuddle and take naps but also is active and gets the zoomies. Her favorite is neck rubs and she's still deciding which kind of toys bring out her inner puppy. She enjoys when I make her enrichment by putting treats in a paper bag that she can unwrap. She is doing well with my 2 senior cats and they only have to watch out when her zoomies strike. She is a quick girl and loves to do donuts when the zoomies strike. |
05/16/2025 FROM FOSTER: We do not know really how she is with kids. She did meet a girl who was maybe 8 at the park and she went up to her calmly with a low tail wag but that's not a lot of info. She is not reactive to dogs and was around several at an event last week. |
03/17/2025 FROM FOSTER: She's proven to be very cuddly. She is learning new commands like lay down, shake, spin and roll over and is a quick learner! She also snores a LOT. Like she's snorty even when awake. It makes us laugh. She is learning to be calm around my cats and doing better than I expected at this point. |
02/08/2025 FROM FOSTER: What I have seen despite her feeling under the weather is that she is very cuddly. She likes to sit on your feet or in your lap. She nudges your hand for pets and puts her paw on your leg so solicit attention. She's been good in the crate and respectful of baby gates. She hasn't had any accidents with being taken out frequently so she may be potty trained. |
