She laid down in the cool grass and enjoyed every minute of being outside. Sweetums solicited a few pets and was content on just being in the moment. |

Was not interested in treats during the walk, but ate some when I returned her to her kennel. She does not pull on the leash at all, likes to take her time sniffing, very calm sweet girl. Did not react to dog barking at her. |

| 03/05/2025 Closed outside for morning cleaning. Soft body and wagging tail when handler approached, not interested in hot dogs. Easy to leash, hard pull to yard, high wagging tail and hackles raised when walking by other dogs but did not attempt to interact. In yard canine explored, eventually approached handler with soft body and wagging tail, took treats gently, allowed petting all over, difficult to keep canine's focus. Approached fence as another dog walked by, followed along fence, whining, able to call canine away. Followed handler to gate, able to pick up leash, moderate pull back, when attempting to return to kennel canine resisted and pulled back, after a moment able to guide canine into kennel with light leash pressure and verbal coaxing, once returned easy leash removal. |

Likely viral etiology with secondary bacterial component. P: - Isolate for treatment in C - Start doxycycline 10mg/kg PO q24h x 14d - Recheck at 14 days or sooner if concerns arise - Medically okay to PUFA |
