About me Hi! My name is Denzel and I'm ready to win you over with my smooth charm. I'm really just a big potato who loves to cuddle and relax! Looking for someone to share your popcorn with while we watch movies? I'm your guy! My adoption fee is quite the deal! Not only do you get my unconditional love and a new BFF, it includes my neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and even some cool coupons! Why wait? Come meet me today!
10/03/2024 FROM FOSTER: He’s doing really well recently. He is the biggest sweetheart and such a good boy, I just wish we could find someone with no other pets that is interested in him! I don't have many updates to add to his profile, I feel like everything I've sent is still accurate. He is doing better with his reactivity to other dogs while we are out and about though so that is very exciting and promising. |
09/26/2024 FROM FOSTER: Inside the house he is truly the perfect dog. He loves being wherever you are and mostly just snuggling up in bed or on the couch. He is non destructive, completely potty trained and does well at home alone even for long periods. He is just a big love bug that wants to have a quiet, relaxing and loving life. We’ve been working on his reactivity and within the last week or so he has really shown some improvement. He is definitely becoming so much more comfortable and relaxed outside. We have had some run ins seeing other dogs and he was much more under control so I do believe with work and patience his reactivity could really improve. Although I do still believe he would be happiest and best as an only pet. |
08/22/2024 From the foster parent: Denzel, 8 years young, has been an absolute gem in his foster home. He’s mastered potty training and crate training, and his favorite pastime is cuddling up on your lap or resting his head on your leg during TV time. He thrives on affection and attention—nothing makes him happier than hearing “good boy” and getting scratches. We’ve been working on his training, and he’s been a quick learner! Denzel already knows sit, stay, lay down, and his favorite, paw. We’re currently focusing on leash manners, and he’s doing great on walks—though he can be reactive around other animals, so he’d do best as the only pet in the home. Recently, Denzel underwent surgery to remove some masses, and he is thriving! He isn’t overly energetic; he enjoys playing with toys but is mostly a big couch potato. He’s also a fantastic companion in the car, making road trips a breeze. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who adores snuggles and is eager to please, Denzel might just be your perfect match. He needs someone patient and committed to continuing his training journey. |
07/16/2024 from foster: He is such a sweet boy! Has had no accidents in the house, doesn’t chew on anything he shouldn’t and just loves to snuggle and relax! |
