I'm housebroken and can use a doggy door, making me a perfect indoor companion. Adopt me and you'll have a loyal, fun-loving friend who'll brighten your days with endless joy and laughter. My adoption fee is a bargain! Not only do you get my unconditional love and a new BFF, it includes my spay surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and even some cool coupons!
04/14/2025 FROM FOSTER: Mimi is doing well. She is house broken. Gets along with cats and plays with her stuffed animals. Enjoys going on walks and hikes although she is reactive to other dogs. She has alot of engery, does not care for her back to be petted. Older children would be good for her. Commands she knows: sit and stay, goes into kennel when told. |
02/11/2025 From the foster parent: Mimi has had a bit of an upset stomach so has been placed on a bland diet. |
11/27/2024 FROM FOSTER: She did well her first night. Slept in her kennel and finally ate some food. Today we went for a walk and she pulled a lot but hoping she will improve soon. |
11/16/2024 Easy to leash. Walked with minimal pull. Spent first portion of time in yard keeping to self, exploring surroundings. Approached handler when called, allowing petting on head and neck. Tolerated petting on back but leaned away from it. Easy walk back and return. Easy leash removal. |
11/07/2024 Out for Yellow training. |
11/07/2024 Pulled for AM cleaning. No issues, easy return. |
11/02/2024 Easy to leash. Walked with minimal pull, no reaction to passing dogs. In yard, spent most of the time exploring surroundings. A bit jumpy of loud noises. Came to handler when called, soft body and slight tail wag. Allowed petting on head and upper torso, but flinched when handler touched dog on lower back. No interest in toys. Easy walk back. Dog allowed leash removal with no issues. |
10/29/2024 Out for Yellow training. |
10/24/2024 Easy to leash. Dog walked with minimal pull; appeared timid of barking dogs and loud noises, needed some coaxing. In yard, dog mostly kept to self; minimal interest in handler. Tail was tucked for first few minutes in yard. Dog would approach handler occasionally if called and allowed petting with some light skin crawling. Dog backed away when handler went to pick up leash. Handler moved slowly and was able to retrieve leash. Dog appears to be sensitive around neck. Easy walk back and return. Handler used clip lead to remove leash due to dog's neck sensitivity. |
10/19/2024 I went for a walk today! |
10/18/2024 Out for AM cleaning. No issues. |
10/17/2024 Hesitant to be leashed and retreated to back of kennel. Handler stepped inside and was able to loop leash. Dog walked cautiously with no pull. Appeared timid of passing dogs. In yard, dog mostly kept to self, exploring surroundings. Did not seek attention but did tolerate petting with some skin crawling. On return, dog scurried back into kennel and was avoidant of handler while attempting to remove leash. Handler was able to remove leash without issue after a couple attempts. |
10/12/2024 out for walk. moved into 5-pack. |
10/10/2024 A bit hesitant and shy coming out. Nice slow walk to yard. Finally after offering several treats- which she would not take- she came close and gave me a tiny lick on the hand. Seems curious of others but nonreactive to people or dogs. She did take a sip of water from the tub . Return was easy- walked right into kennel and I unleashed her. |
10/02/2024 Dog was at the gate on approach, excited, easy leash placement and pull. Walked well on leash. In PY dog showed interest in a nearby dog. Came to handler at times briefly, allowed light petting. Easily startled, a little avoidant at times. No return issues. |
09/21/2024 Mimi was moderate to pull, nervous of the leash but allowed with coaxing. Alternated between hard pulling and loose leash on walk. Enjoyed sniffing. In the yard, paced and was nervous of all the noise. Approached for pets and licked my hand. Took treats gently. Moderate to return but entered kennel with coaxing. |
09/06/2024 Solicited attentions, Easy to pull from kennel, Easy to return to kennel, Calm, Easy/Loose Leash, Not interested in treats, Ignored dogs when walking past kennels, sweet friendly girl, appears potty trained, soft body and tail wagging, |

08/16/2024 Out for Eval: Canine greeted handler in the back of kennel while open mouth panting. Slight low tail wag. Allowed easy leash placement and walked beside handler at a soft slow pace. Once in yard canine stayed beside handler and had neutral body. Canine heard truck and jumped but immediately settled and continued to walk near handler. Allowed handler to pet on head and body but did not actively seek attention, just wanted to be close to both handlers. Walked back to kennel no issue. Hesitant to go back into kennel but followed handler in. Allowed easy leash removal by hand. ***Requiring 5+ due to nervous behaviors in shelter environment. Recommending socialization with new people. |

08/09/2024 Dog was at the gate on approach, stiff body, ignored treats, tail wagged when leash was presented. Allowed slow leash placement, exited kennel quickly. Pilo-erect with tail tucked while passing other dogs. Outside dog pulled moderately hard on leash, a little avoidant of handler. In small yard handler dropped leash, dog moved away, sniffed around, kept watching handler. Eventually started sniffing around handler, but flinched away from attempts to touch/pet. Remained stiff with tail tucked at all times. Dog became reactive towards other dogs on the return, entered kennel easily, clip leash used. |
