About me Name: Kirby Breed: 100 percent good boy Personality: Kirby is a loyal, fun-loving pup with endless curiosity and a wagging tail for every question! Always ready to fetch knowledge, play games, or share wholesome vibes. Hobbies: Sniffing out the best treats, paw-sitive affirmations, and digging up solutions to tricky problems. Favorite Treats: A good puzzle, fun stories, and lots of belly rubs (well, of course!). Special Skill: Turning tricks into delightful treats and making learning as exciting as a game of fetch!
01/02/2025 From the foster parent: Kirby is an extra special boy and he is good with dogs and dog savvy cats! |
12/31/2024 FROM FOSTER: he’s good with cats and dogs now too with proper slow intro |
12/18/2024 Kirby is doing great! He likes to play with toys and hangout on the couch. He’s calm in the house now and has been around one of our dogs so far! Slowly working him into the other dogs and cat but he doesn’t mind being crated in the living room with all the animals out! |
12/10/2024 From foster: He’s doing good! Mellow in his crate. Used to a routine. Zero reactivity to the dogs or cat when they are out roaming. Takes treats gentle and likes to go for walks. He likes to hangout outside and play with toys. Exhibits zero separation anxiety when crated or outside which is nice!! No marking so he’s housebroken. He doesn’t shred his blanket in his crate and calmly chews Bene y shaped chews in his kennel. He is higher energy when out of his kennel, but nothing too bad. He knows sit and no which is nice! |
12/08/2024 From the foster parent: Kirby is doing great in foster care. He is housetrained and crate trained. He is excited to see other dogs when crated but waiting to introduce him to the resident pets. He redirects gently with treats as a distraction from the dogs. Will also wait a little longer to introduce him to the resident cat |
