About me I am ready to SPRING into my new home! I love to get pets and love from everyone, and am a total cuddle bunny. I love to snuggle up with you at night, and want nothing more than to be your best friend. I have been honing my skills and am an expert at sit and chilling in my kennel. I am so excited to go out and about and while I am working on my leash skills, I'm an expert at riding in the car. I love to get my energy out by running laps in the yard or wrestling with other dogs. I am a sweet boy and ready for my forever home ... and want to hop on home in time for spring!

| 04/11/2025 Upon kennel approach, k9 began demand barking and jumping up at kennel door. Able to leash k9 while standing up and walked out of kennel. Showed interest in every dog walking past, including running up to their kennel and barking. Strong pull on leash all the way to clinic, knows sit and takes treats. Strong pull back to kennel, easy to return and retrieved leash with no issues. |

| 03/10/2025 From the foster parent: Meet Poseidon- the most adorable dog ready to bring lots of love and luck into your laugh (just in time for St. Patty’s). Poseidon is such a sweet dog who truly loves his people. He loves to curl up at night to watch a show or cuddle in bed. Poseidon has done great with our bigger dogs and they run around the yard together or roll around inside, and he just lets our older Daschund be. | 02/17/2025 FROM FOSTER: Although Valentine’s Day has passed, it’s not too late to make Poseidon your sweetheart! This sweet boy has so much love to give and is just the happiest dog alive. Poseidon’s tail is always wagging and he loves to give kisses. He’s also 110% sure he’s a lap dog and no matter what, there’s room on the couch and bed for him. Poseidon does great with our dogs, both big and small, and he loves to run around the yard with our bigger dogs. He’s such a great dog and is ready for a forever family to give all his love to! | 01/26/2025 from foster: Poseidon is such a sweet boy and an amazing dog! He loves his people and constantly seeks them out for pets and love. Poseidon’s favorite thing to do is curl up on the couch and watch TV with you. Poseidon knows how to sit, use the doggy door, and go to kennel. Poseidon loves to run around the yard and play fetch or lounge around and sun bathe. He does great with all of our dogs! He’s super gentle with our older dachshund and he loves to roll around with our younger dogs. Poseidon really enjoys other dogs and gets along with them really well! He’s very submissive and has never instigated a fight or been pushy with our other dogs. Poseidon is such a great dog and super loving. He is so gentle and would probably do well with kids too. | 01/02/2025 From the foster parent: Poseidon is doing great! He is a total baby and loves to cuddle up on the couch or in bed. Poseidon is such a sweet boy and constantly seeks out attention and love. He seems to have a smile on every moment of the day and you can hear him coming by his tail thumping the walls as he walks. Poseidon is potty trained, create trained, and knows sit and lie down. He’s a very smart boy and seems eager to learn more. He’s very sweet and well behaved and such a great dog. He walks well on his leash as well. Poseidon also met all our dogs, including big and small, and he’s done great with all of them. Poseidon loves to play and will do anything to tempt the other dogs into playing. Poseidon is very submissive and non aggressive with his play style, and loves to just run around the other dogs. He really enjoys having a play buddy to chase around the yard. Recently, he’s also taken to toys and really enjoys chewing on the dolly or carrying around a stuffy. Overall, Poseidon is an amazing dog and is such a sweet and loving boy! |
| 12/21/2024 From the foster parent: Poseidon is such a silly, loving, and amazing dog. He’s been sleeping soundly in bed and is a total cuddle bunny who loves to sleep up against you at night. He loves to trot around the house and yard with a little hop. Poseidon is so loving and constantly wants to be pet and always leans in to snuggle. He is super affectionate and just such a sweet dog. Poseidon hasn’t had any accidents in the house, knows sit, and goes to his kennel. Poseidon seems eager to learn and will do anything for a treat. He’s seen our older dog through a kennel and Poseidon only play bows and whines at her. He’s such a great dog who is really thriving in foster! |

Poseidon really enjoys running around in the yard and exploring on walks. He’s very playful and also enjoys his toys. Poseidon is doing great in a home and is an amazing dog! | 12/04/2024 Per vol: Very wiggly and a bit jumpy when handler approached kennel, but was easily leashed. Strong pull out of pod into play yard and while on walk, allowed handler to put on a harness with no issue. Good listener, he knows sit and quickly started to pick up on come, took treats gently. He had no issues getting in and out of the car on his own, and was well behaved on car ride. Timid when entering apartment, but greeted roommates with soft, wiggly body. Waited to get onto the couch until invited up, he loved to snuggle and would burrow his head into my arms and chest. He was very happy to nap with me on the couch, enjoyed being tucked into blanket with a toy to hold in his mouth. Was startled by sudden, loud noises, i.e. car backfiring, and would pull to leave the area it occured while on walk. Easy return to kennel, no accidents in car or kennel. |

When thrown, he chased it & brought it back but didn't give it to me; instead he lay at my feet several times & gnawed on it. Ran zoomies w/me. Loose, wiggly body. Enjoyed treats. Liked affection.
