About me I'm Carlie, a dog who's as playful as a toddler and as friendly as a golden retriever. I am so energetic, I once chased my tail for so long, I spun myself right into a shelter! Don't worry, I wasn't dizzy for long. I'm also funny, with a knack for slapstick comedy. Ever seen a dog try to catch a frisbee with her tail? I have tried, and the results were hilarious. I walk well on a leash and am housetrained, so no worries about any indoor 'accidents'. I'm ready to bring my energy, friendliness, and humor into a loving home. Why adopt me? Well, if you need a reason beyond me being a tail-chasing, frisbee-catching, laughter-inducing bundle of joy, it's because every home could use a little more laughter and love, and I've got plenty of both to give. My adoption fee is a bargain! Not only do you get my unconditional love and a new BFF, it includes my spay surgery, vaccinations, and microchip!
05/07/2025 FROM FOSTER: She is doing amazing |
04/23/2025 From foster: she’s still doing great! I love her so much. |
04/11/2025 FROM FOSTER: She is doing great! I love her so so much - she is the sweetest dog ever. She always wants to be near me or touching me in some way which is just so adorable and she cuddles under the covers with me at night which I love so much. She’s such a great, easy dog - she’s never had any accidents in the house, she’s mostly obedient, loves to go on walks, super easy to take in the car, very friendly with everyone including children, doesn’t bark very often at all. She does jump on people when she first meets them or when I come home because she’s just so excited. It’s really fun to see how high she can jump hahaha. She’s also just one of the funniest dogs ever- she twerks and sits like a human and stretches her legs back out onto the couch and just does so many little silly things. Plus, she’s always smiling! She’s just such a joy to have around all the time. |
02/23/2025 FROM FOSTER: Carlie is doing great |
02/03/2025 From the foster parent: She loves toys, tug-of-war, zoomies around the yard, naps, attention, pets, kisses and definitely treats. She is a greater walker, knows how to sit and takes treats very gently. She gets jealous over food and toys, so probably best as an only dog. She is great with kids, large crowds and potty trained. We had a party this weekend with lots of people, and she was the belle of the ball! |
01/11/2025 From the foster parent: She loves toys, tug-of-war, zoomies around the yard, playing in the sprinklers, naps, attention, pets, kisses and definitely treats. She is a greater walker, knows how to sit and takes treats very gently. Also, she loves lower back rubs and likes to twerk, it is hilarious! She gets jealous over food and toys, so probably best as an only dog. She is great with kids and possibly crate trained. |
12/20/2024 Based on observations in foster home of canine needing to be separate and resource guarding multiple items from other dogs an the home, placing an Only Dog Requirement for now. |
12/19/2024 From the foster parent: She is doing great, but she does not get along with our dogs. We have to have them separated all the time. She is a super sweet dog and loves people, but has some issues with sharing food and toys with other dogs. She did play with one of our dogs last week, but that ended in a scuffle. No bad wounds, it she needs to stay separated. I think Carly would do wonderfully in a home with no other dogs. She gets along great with all people and children. She’s a big cuddle bug and loves pets and kisses. She loves to play tug of war with people and run in the yard. |
12/05/2024 FROM FOSTER: Shes doing great! she gets along with our older dog, as he does not like to play. |
