01/16/2025 Meet and greet with potential foster. Dog was soft and wiggly on approach, easy leash. Immediatly upon exiting kennel dog began fence fighting at every passing kennel, difficult to redict and strong. Barking, growling, lunging at any dog she saw. Once out of kennel area, strong pull to yard. In yard dog settled slightly but would pace perimeter with flagging tail and stiff body when other dogs would pass by. Sniffed around yard and approached handler several times, affiliative and accepted pets. Strong pull out of yard and back to kennel. Dog again fence fought entire way back. Pulled away from kennel, required moderate leash pressure to return and dog attempted to push back out. Able to remove leash and close door while dog was distracted. |
01/16/2025 Canine greeted handler with a soft body and wagging tail. Was a little head shy, required wide loop to leash. Moderate to strong pull. Annie peed and pooped several times while out in play yard, played with squeaky ball. Fence fought with dog barking at her. Was affiliative to all humans she met, would roll over for belly rubs and snuggle head into lap, sometimes putting paws on lap. Enjoyed hot dogs, enrichment chew, and took a nap indoors. Tried to give handler kisses. Started pulling hard outside upon return and began fence fighting with several dogs on the way back if they started barking at her. Handler was able to direct canine into outside kennel, where she then immediately ran inside to eat, taking leash with her. Handler had to go inside to retrieve leash, which she allowed. |
