About me Hi I'm Geraldine! I love meeting new people and relaxing patio lunches! I'm eager to explore and enjoy sniffing on my walks inbetween getting pets. I'd probably do best in a home where I'm your one and only pup but may do okay with slow introductions and decompression time. My adoption fee is a bargain! You get my unconditional love and a new BFF PLUS my spay surgery, vaccinations, and microchip covered!

| 05/06/2025 Tails Around Town - I had the pleasure of taking Geraldine out for the day. She is such a sweetheart that loves car rides and exploring outside. Our first stop was to an outdoor Starbucks for a pupcup. She didn’t really care for the pupcup but enjoyed taking in the outdoors, and even jumped up on the bench to sit next to me. Next we headed over to the Riparian Preserve and spent awhile exploring all the trails. She didn’t react to any people, dogs, ducks or squirrels we saw along the way but the bunnies caught her attention. Our next stop was to In & Out for some lunch. She loved the puppy patty! After lunch we ended our day with a trip to Kiwanis Park to walk around the pond. She enjoyed smelling all the plants & trees and exploring the park. Eventually it started to rain so we headed back to the car and drove around town a bit. She loved riding around with her head out the window and occasionally would put her nose on my shoulder which was so cute. We really had a great day together and I think she would make the perfect camping or hiking companion. |

| 04/20/2025 , I went out for Tails Around Town today! I'm not a fan of being near other dogs, but I'm very sweet and easy with people whenever no dogs are around. I had a hamburger and sat nicely through lunch and enjoyed my outing. |

| 04/05/2025 Takes treats nicely, Sit, Geraldine is easy to pull/return to kennel. She pulls slightly toward kennels, but is easily redirected. She prefers to explore in PY & didn't engage in play, but is friendly and accepts all petting. Allowed vol to brush out shedding hair. Walks nicely on leash. Nice girl. |

Only dog recommendation due to canine's behavior with other dog in foster home resulting in a puncture to the foster's dogs ear after an immediate introduction. | 02/12/2025 Tails Around Town - We took Geraldine out for Tails Around Town. She did very well in the car. She loved to stick her head out the window and insisted on being next to the driver. She was a light pull as we walked around the park. She was interested in other dogs and animals. In the backyard, she spent alot of time sniffing around and was constantly moving. She loved to chase geckos, birds, and flies. She liked to keep track of where we were. She didn’t seem like she enjoyed running distances. She didn’t jump on the outdoor furniture. She’d be a great adventure buddy! |

Geraldine’s energy level was medium, strength was average for their size, and walking style would best be described as stop and go, loose leashed. Geraldine’s personality was curious, alert and Geraldine sits on command. Geraldine is food motivated and does take treats gently. |

| 02/01/2025 Tails Around Town - I took Geraldine out for Tails Around Town and we had so much fun! She is so smart and loved walking around the park. She was definetly interested in the ducks and other dogs that were around and did pull a bit on the leash at first but in general walks good on a leash. She wasnt a fan of the pup cup, but she loved having lunch on the dog friendly patio, and was always up for the next adventure. She is such a sweet dog and would be such a great companion! |
