| 04/10/2025 Dog was lying down on bed. Quickly approached. Soft body. Took treat gently. When trying to leash dog head flipped and ducked leash placement. Constantly shook off. Dog stuck nose out through door opening. Handler was able to make a large loop and placed at opening. Slowly opened door wide enough for dog to stick head through loop. Exited kennel. Walked well to play yard. In yard, stood near handler for a moment. Took treats. Demonstrated sit. Handler walked away dog remained in same place. Explored for a moment then approached handler. Took treats. Allowed for petting. Soft body. Handler would stop petting dog would nudge at handler's hand. Dog would walk away and shake off then approach again allowing for more petting. Allowed handler to pick leash up. Walked back to kennel. Entered kennel. Stood in middle of kennel with still body. Handler tried to coax back to front not interested handler tossed treats dog approached and allowed handler to slowly remove leash while dog was taking treats off floor. |

| 02/08/2025 Handlers approached from back of kennel in order to move K9 to C wing. While attempting to leash, K9 either ran away and avoided the leash- Or K9 did a quick play bow (like behavior) but then jump up and defense bark at handler when the leash got close. K9 displayed this same behavior whether with his kennel mate or separated from kennel mate. Handler was finally able to leash K9 after a long time and quite a few failed attempts. Handler was able to leash k9 while separated and with door cracked, lining leash up to the door and attempting to leash when K9 stuck his nose and head outside of the door slightly (this method also took quite a few attempts, but was ultimately successful.) |

| 01/31/2025 Canine was in locked inside with kennel mate for morning cleaning; soft body and eyes, swooshing tail wag; handler opened guillotine and when one dog moved out, hadnler closed guillotine; presented leash and canine backed away; handler had to step in and was able to place leash without issue; canine walked on leash, out of kennel; would pause at times, but was easily coaxed along; while out of kennel canine allowed all petting all over body and remained soft; upon arrival to new kennel entered on his own and allowed easy leash removal. |
