05/01/2025 Tails Around Town - Alister and I went to a park. He is really good. He ate a plain McDonald's hamburger and all of his treats. Also ate a piece of my cheeseburger. He seemed really interested in kids. He wanted to walk near the kids on playground and watch. He did stand up and got anxious when a chihuahua was walking by, but we got up and walked and he paid no attention to the chihuahua. I took him to my place with my small dogs in the bedroom. And he was very interested in them so I left because I didn't want him pushing the door open to my dogs. He's anxious in the car. Whines and nervous but stops after walking & tiring out. He's a great dog. |

04/27/2025 Tails Around Town - Alister is such a sweet and gentle boy. Our adventure began at Tempe Town Lake, where he walked beautifully on a leash—no pulling at all. He’s incredibly gentle, ignores other dogs, and is very sweet with people, especially children. This good boy absolutely loves water; he was eager to play in the sprinklers! After our time at the lake, we headed to O.H.S.O. Brewery, where he was quite the hit. Everyone wanted to meet him, and he remained calm and composed throughout. He even enjoyed a burger, and you can hand-feed him—he takes treats so gently. Overall, he’s an incredibly sweet boy. |

04/22/2025 Tails Around Town - Alister is a fabulous dog. He is calm, loving, and easy to walk. He rode in the car without any issues. He was a little whiny during our initial ride but simply laid down while whining. He definitely needs to be touched until he gets worn out. After we walked around Home Depot for an hour or so, we went to my house and he took a nice nap. We visited with 10-15 folks at Home Depot. Alister was calm and attentive to each person. He gently took treats and accepted affection from everyone. His hips appear to bother him a bit when he walks. |

04/08/2025 Tails Around Town - We had the pleasure of taking Alister out for his Tails Around Town. He is such a sweet boy. A dream on the leash. He was a little shy at first but by the end of the day he was giving me kisses!!! We went to the Riparian Preserve for a walk, then to Ohso Brewery in downtown Gilbert for a hamburger. He was a hit!!! After we went to Petsmart for a treat. He was wonderful. No dog reactivity or pull on the leash. Lastly was a visit to Handels ice cream. I did not want to let him go. He would be perfect for someone looking for a lower energy sweet boy! |

04/03/2025 Tails Around Town - Allister was very sweet and gentle, and was especially great on a leash. We went for a walk at the Riparian Preserve, went to Dutch Bros for a pup cup, McDonald’s for a (plain) hamburger, and another park for a quick walk, but he just wanted love/pets at the end. He is very vocal at first and doesn’t seem to love the car, but his crying calmed down after toward the end of our trip. He was very interested in ducks at the Preserve, and seeked out attention at the second park we went to. |

03/06/2025 Tails Around Town - Took Alister out for Tails around Town. He was whimpering so I took him to Chaparral park for a nice walk. For car rides, he does cry but stays in the back seat. On our walk, he did try to go the opposite direction for the first part of the walk but did much better by the 2nd half. He had a hard time relaxing at the home, and so I went outside and swept the pool. He enjoyed drinking out of the pool and following me around. He takes treats gently by hand. He enjoys going on the couch for cuddles. He settled down for a nap while I rubbed his ears and belly, all the while he was gently pushing on my stomach with his paw, making sure I was always there. We also took a walk around the neighborhood, and he was friendly towards my neighbors. He did great on the leash walking through the neighborhood. He did not bark at other dogs we saw at the park or in the neighborhood. The whimpering subsided after all our activities. Alister is a sweet boy, loving and affectionate. |
