About me Hi! I'm Nala, a young pup full of curiosity and love. I might be a bit shy when we first meet, but give me a little time, and I'll warm right up. I love to play and explore new things. Did I mention I love swimming? It's my favorite! I'm looking for someone who understands that I like to take things slow at first. Once I feel safe, my friendly and sweet nature really shines through. If you're looking for a loyal friend to explore and relax with, I'm your girl! Why not bring me home?

| 03/21/2026 Volunteer moved K9 into gen pop kennel (has been kennel flirting with K9 for a llittle while prior to moving K9) Per Volunteer, K9 was slightly fearful upon initial approach and volunteer had to move slow and lasso leash onto K9, using large loop. Once out of kennel, K9 relaxed and after more time to warm up to volunteer even more, K9 began to be affectionate and come out of her shell bit by bit. Once volunteer had K9 out and walking for a little while, K9 started becoming more confident and curious and tried to approach another volunteer. After a few moments and with 2nd volunteer encouraging and moving slowly, K9 did eventually greet 2nd volunteer and solicited attention from them. *NOTE: K9 may show apprehension to strangers, move slow and allow plenty of time for her to warm up to any handler. For potential adopters during meet and greets, please inform all parties that it may take a few extra moments to leash and bring her into play yard/ m&g area. Furthermore, please keep K9 on leash and instruct any PA to give her space and time to warm up to them. DO NOT allow anyone to come close without canine's consent / comfort, play close attention to body language before dropping the leash in M&G and/or allowing potential adopters to approach and come close to her, although this should be common practice with any/all dogs, it is esspecially important for this canine. |
