05/14/2025 Avoidant, Easy to pull from kennel, Easy to return to kennel, Not interested in toys, Not interested in treats, Easy/Loose Leash, Calm, Timid, Ignored dogs when walking past kennels, Pup seemed excited to be out but cautious, wandered entire yard numerous times. Offered a treat and he hid next to tree. Gentle boy. Gave me a couple of licks on hand but disinterested. Mostly kept his distance. Upon return walked right into kennel. Sweet Atlas! |

05/07/2025 , Atlas is a very sweet, gentle boy. He is a little avoidant of the leash at first and gently moves away, but once leashed he walks well. Ignores all other dogs in and out of kennel as well. He allowed me to brush him and wipe down his full coat, as well as his face and eyes. |
05/05/2025 dog was standing at front of kennel, took treats through gate, dog retreated to outside portion when handler opened kennel, handler closed divider and met dog outside, dog took treats through gate, allowed for easy leashing, walked slowly with zero pull and soft body to play yard. In yard, dog explored for the majority of the time, took treats gently, allowed all petting with some flinching at first, but did not solicit attention, dog had neutral body, knows "SIT," not interested in toys. Dog walked to gate and stood there, looking at handler, allowed handler to retrieve leash and walked back with no pull to kennel, entered kennel with no issue and allowed leash to be removed by hand. 04/28/2025 , Timid at first but allowed leashing, walked slowly to yard. Allowed some brushing and pets. Went to trail, took a long potty. Walked calm and well behaved on leash but is a little shy. Takes treats gently. EZ return to kennel. Ignored other dogs passing by |

Lots of sniffing and wandering yard. Mostly ignores other dogs. Appears to enjoy yard. Likes treats. Walk back easy and walks right into kennel. |

Took hot dogs out of my hand and loved them. Licked my hand afterwards. Nervous baby-did not like barking. Curious of neighboring dog. Stayed close in yard. Walk back uneventful and walked right into back of kennel. nervous. |

We went for a walk on the trail. No issue returning to kennel. Stepped in kennel, he followed, and then unleashed. |
03/27/2025 Dog was laying in middle of kennel as handler approached, did not get up when handler kneeled down coaxing, dog did get up for tossed treat then ran outside. Handler dropped treat inside and dog came back in with tail semi-tucked, head low. Closed divider and presented leash. Dog stayed in middle of kennel as handler opened door, dog was dodging leash attempts but handler was able to large loop leash placement. Dog walked slowly out of kennel and along other dogs kennels, dog pulled back when approaching building door but came forward with leash pressure. Dog walked slowly to play yard before pancaking in front of play yard gate, frozen and took multiple attempts of coaxing for dog to get moving. In play yard dog was stiff as handler approached to place stopper, followed handler to bench and accepted pets but was flinchy, did not move from same spot entire eval. Dog would be stiff as handler approached and flinch when handler went to pet but would become soft, took treats gently from hand. Dog walked with slow easy pull back to kennel, need some coaxing getting through building door. Handler had to walk into kennel for pup to follow, allowed handler to reach in and remove leash by hand. |

03/25/2025 Dog came to front of kennel to be leashed and exited kennel with no pulling. Didn't want to exit shelter to go outside on the trail for walk, but walked well around shelter and in building. Totally treat motivated and takes them gently. |

03/15/2025 K9 came forward for treats when approached to kennel; K9 dodged leash placement when attempting to leash with handlers arm in door, handler was able to step into kennel to leash with no issues; once leashed handler used a treats in palm of hand to coax K9 into Taxi Cart; once half way in handler softly muzzle wrapped K9 with no issues then assisted K9 with getting hind legs fully into cart; K9 rode well to small PY; once in PY, K9 stood in middle of PY looking around; handler approached K9 & offered more treats then sat on chair, K9 followed handler to chair & stay close to handler; K9 placed head on handlers lap & leaned into petting; K9 takes treats gently & allowed all petting with no flinching or skin crawling; used a treat trail to help guide K9 back into Taxi Cart; softly muzzle wrapped K9 again to assist K9 in getting hind legs fully into Taxi Cart; K9 rode well back to kennel; exited Taxi & into kennel with no issues & leash removal by hand. *PLEASE USE TAXI CART. |
03/14/2025 Canine was closed outside. Approached handler, body neutral, took treats. Avoidant of leash, able to step in and place leash with large loop. Unable to coax canine out of kennel, when attempting to guide into cart canine pulled back, thrashed briefly and cried out, when settled handler offered canine more treats, allowed handler to remove leash. Unable to pull due to high FAS. |
