| 03/26/2025 (Re-evaluation at request of staff) Dog was at front of kennel, wagging tail, wiggly body. Eager to exit kennel; took a few tries to place leash. Dog walked with moderate pull, some zig-zag. In yard, dog had high energy and ran around, frequently approaching handler to seek attention. Jumped up for attention and allowed all petting. Dog was very mouthy in play, taking handler's arm and hand into mouth lightly. Needed to be directed away. Very interested in dogs passing outside of yard and followed along fence, high wagging tail. While handler was attempting to replace dog's E-collar, dog began thrashing on leash, pulling hard. Handler was able to get dog to settle long enough to place collar. Moderate pull on return. Strong hesitance to enter kennel; handler stepped inside and guided dog in, requiring some leash pressure. Once dog was in kennel, handler stepped out and removed leash by hand. |
