About me I just went into a foster home and I am as happy as a clam! I am getting plenty of attention and am enjoying my foster family. My adoption fee is a bargain! 05/06/2025 Dog 1 was wiggly and soft with handlers, allowed petting all over, took treats gently, had soft body and wagging tail when meeting dogs 2 and 3 through fence, handler brought dog into yard and allowed dog 1 to meet dog 2 while holding leash, dog 1 had high wagging tail, play bowed, when meeting dog 3, dog 1 had high wagging tail, both dogs circled and sniffed each other with soft bodies, dog 1 would focus back on handler when called, handlers let all three dogs leashes go, dog 1 would follow dog 2 closely, chasing around the yard, dog 1 was soft with dog 3, dog 1 was chasing dog 2 when dog 3 curled lip and snapped at dog 1, handler's separated all three dogs and gave them space from each other, dog 3 was removed from the yard, dog 1 and 2 continued to chase each other around the yard, dog 1 would get really close to dog 2 and dog 2 would attempt to create distance by getting into the pool or showing belly, dog 1 would give space briefly, eventually dog 2 gave a correction and handler intervened to pull dog 1 away, dog 2 was showing signs of being tired, so handlers decided to end interaction. Dog 1 had zero pull on walk back and entered kennel with no issue. |

05/01/2025 Dog allowed for easy pull from kennel, soft wiggly body, moderate pull to yard, would solicit attention from handlers and lean into all over petting. When meeting dog 2 (A5129819) through fence, dog 1 had high wagging tail, dog 1 would follow dog 2 and try to chase, handler brought dog 2 into yard, dog 1 pulled towards dog 2, both dogs sniffed each other and moved in a circle, handlers decided to drop leashes and dog 1 would chase dog 2 and follow closely, dog 2 would lay on the ground and show belly, dog 1 would give dog 2 space, both dogs play bowed and jumped up on each other, dog 2 would get into pool and splash around, dog 1 stayed outside the pool but would stay close and would paw at dog 2. dog 2 was panting hard and becoming more avoidant, so handler removed dog 2. Dog 1 then solicited attentions from handlers and leaned into petting, walked back to kennel with low pull and returned to kennel with no issue. |

04/29/2025 Soft body and wagging tail when handler approached, took treats. Easy to leash and walk to yard, did turn around and jump up on handler a couple times on the way to yard but wasn't forceful. In yard dog was affiliative, soft body and wagging tail when interacting with handler. Leaned into handler's legs and allowed petting all over. Sat for treats, took gently. Stayed with handler the whole time. Easy walk back, jumped up once but settled quickly. Had to step into kennel and uses verbal coaxing to guide dog in, easy leash removal. |

04/06/2025 Responded to a radio call of needing assistance due to growling while leashing to move to a new kennel. Able to softly talk to dog while dog was laying on bed, dog would not come forward. Able to enter into kennel & retrieve leash. Gave soft pets & dog looked up @ handler with soft eyes & started to wag tail. Able to muzzle wrap dog & place into a Behavior Taxi with no issues. Rode well to new kennel building & accepted all petting. Exited Behavior Taxi with no issues & leash removal by hand. |
04/06/2025 When approaching the front of the kennel, k-9 was nervous/avoidant of handler but allowed leash placement. K-9 displayed a stiff body/wide eyes and as a precaution a second handler was called to assist. Handler was unsure if K-9 growled, witness noted that it may have been the neighboring dog. The second handler was able to remove K-9 from the kennel without issue. Bucket was used due to K-9 being reluctant to walk on leash. |

03/21/2025 2nd handler stepped into kennel for leash placement; able to softly muzzle wrap K9 & placed into Taxi cart by 2nd handler; rode well to small PY; exited Taxi cart with verbal coaxing; took treats gently; sat next to 1st handler for the majority of time while in PY, placed head onto 1st handlers lap & leaned into for all petting; 2nd handler was able to place back into Taxi cart; rode well back to kennel; exited cart with no issues; entered into kennel and leash removal by hand with 2nd handler |
03/21/2025 Pup was in outside portion of kennel, head low and soft eyes, would not get up for tossed treats but did eat treats thrown near pup. Allowed handler to step in and leash with no issue, ate treat from handlers hand gently, pup will not walk on leash. Handler was able to muzzle wrap and lift pup into bucket with no issues, pup allowed all handling. Rode fine in bucket, accepted pets. In play yard pup was hesitant to leave bucket, took treat from handlers hand soft and gently. Handlers were able to coax pup out of bucket where pup slowly walked over to handlers with soft body, head low and sad eyes allowing petting all over. Pup solicited attentions and would nudge head to handlers hand if done petting. Pup would not walk on leash in yard, was able to muzzle wrap and scoot pup into bucket with no issues. Rode fine to kennel and no issue returning to kennel. Allowed handler to step in and remove leash by hand. Accepted pets before closing kennel door. |

03/20/2025 Handler approached dog was in outside portion of kennel. Curled up in corner almost unable to view from front. Handler closed divider. Attempted to pull from back. Dog remained curled up in back corner would not make eye contact. Tried to verbally coax dog was not interested. Handler attempted to lasso leash. Was able to lasso leash after a few tries. Dog remained curled up and frozen. Tried coaxing and applied light leash pressure dog continued curled up began trembling. Handler pet with end of leash dog skin crawled. Wide eyes. Handler tried to bring bucket close to kennel. Was unable to. Handler was not capable of lifting dog in bucket. Ended interaction. |
