Oh, they're my favorite! I can do tricks for them, you know. Sit, stay, paw, I've got them all down. I'm an adult, but don't let that fool you, I've got plenty of energy for walks, playtime, and even some good old fetch. Why should you adopt me? Going back pulled, walked into back kennel & easy leash off. |

He enjoyed walk and will walk well on leash away from shelter. Reacted to other dogs on pull and return to his kennel and would fence fight. He's a strong dog so it was difficult to redirect away from other dogs. |

04/14/2025 Appeared to be leashed with no issues. Moderate pull on way to PY. Explored PY with a relaxed body. Approached both handlers multiple times seeking attention & taking treats gently. When dogs would start to bark near PY, dog would become reactive by alarm barking @ gate with a flagged tail & hair raised along back of spine. Dog was able to be distracted & redirected by handlers calling dog over. Would approach both handlers & relax body. Leaned in for petting. On kennel return dog was reactive towards reactive dogs & not reactive with non reactive dogs. Entered into kennel with no issues. |
04/14/2025 Dog was at front of kennel. Soft body and open mouth. Took treats gently. Allowed easy leashing. Exited kennel. Pulled hard. Pilo erect passing kennels. In yard, dog explored for some moments. Started panting. Handlers would coax dog was not interested. Tossed treats not interested. After a few moments approached assistant handler. Allowed petting. Dogs in neighboring kennels started barking dog approached yard fence and began alarm barking with hackles raised. Handlers tried to redirect attention after a few moments dog redirected attention. Let out a whine and shook off. Explored. Started pacing. Approached handlers and allowed for petting. Staff approached yard fence. Dog approached and sniffed staff through. Went back to exploring yard. Started to settle. Allowed handler to pick leash up. Hard pull back to kennel. Fence fought briefly with reactive dog. Entered kennel. Allowed leash removal. |
