About me Hi! Staff are still getting to know me. However, I want to get to know YOU! My adoption fee is quite the deal! Not only do you get my unconditional love and a new BFF, it includes my spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and even some cool coupons! Why wait? Come meet me today!
07/11/2025 From the foster parent: Patrick and our dog are becoming good friends. They enjoy walks together, playing in the yard, and cuddling on the couch. After a slow and proper introduction, he has shown no signs of aggressive behavior or resource guarding towards her. Due to his size and playfulness, another medium/large size dog would most likely be the best fit for him but he would also be content being the only dog in the home. |
07/09/2025 Foster brought to Petsmart event. Was relatively quiet for most of event - did bark at people coming in. Really liked treats (loved his pig ear). Allowed for pets through kennel door. Very sweet boy! Went home with foster! |
07/07/2025 FROM FOSTER: Patrick is doing great in our home. He is a very curious and sweet guy, always wanting to know what everyone is doing and be right near your side. He is medium energy, loving his nightly walks or a run in the back yard, then is content lounging around the house. He loves playing with stuffy toys, often sleeping with his favorite duck. Patrick is working on his leash training, as he can be very strong, but is making good progress. He is not reactive towards other dogs or people on the leash, however, he is very curious about both so currently pulls. Once allowed to greet, he is very friendly but can become over excited initially. He may not be suited for young children or small animals at this time due to his excitement. He never intends anything negative, but is sometimes unaware of his size. Patrick is also working on his basic commands and is very food motivated, he has mastered sit and knows his name. He is very responsive to us and learns quickly. Patrick does not seem bark noises or demand bark. He has shown no signs of aggression or negative habits since being in our home. |
07/01/2025 FROM FOSTER: He seems to be adjusting well and slept through the night with no accidents or noise. |

06/17/2025 Tails Around Town - I got to take Patrick out for the day. First we went to PetSmart to get him a life jacket then we went paddle boarding at Canyon Lake. He was very excited at first, pulled on the leash and jumped on anyone that greeted him. He is very friendly and wanted to play with everyone and every dog that he had seen. He was excellent on the paddle board, never tried to jump off and seemed to really enjoy being out there exploring the lake. He was very well-behaved in the car and by the end of the day, he had calmed down and pulled on the leash less. He was very playful and energetic, but was also content just sitting next to me and watching other people play. Patrick is super sweet and loves cuddles. |
