About me Hello there, I'm Grape. I'm a bit of a wallflower at first, but once I warm up to you, I promise you'll find a loyal, sweet-natured companion in me. I'm mellow and brave, taking life as it comes. I prefer a slow introduction to new faces and furry friends, but with patience, I can be the best pal you've ever had. I'm gentle and friendly, always ready to give you my paw when you need it. I might be a little shy, but that's just because I'm waiting for the right family to show me the world. If you're looking for a companion who will stick by your side and offer unconditional love, then look no further. I may need a little time to adjust, but I promise I'm worth it. Adopt me, and let's create beautiful memories together. My adoption fee is a bargain! Not only do you get my unconditional love and a new BFF, it includes my spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and even some cool coupons!

07/09/2025 Soft body, wagging tail when handler approached. Sniffed handlers hand and solicited attentions through kennel door. |
07/09/2025 PLacing up for adoption based on behavior on intake and previous shelter stay. Due to canine's hsitroy around other animals, canine is required to be the only pet in the home and should not have contact with other animals. |
07/05/2025 Easy leashing, walking into Bubble. Wiggly with tail wag, allowing petting all over. Walked to kennel and entered with no issue |
06/28/2025 Tails Around Town - Grape is the perfect house hippo and shopping buddy! She jumped right in the car and was a quiet passenger. We wandered around REI and Home Depot and Grape loved everyone she met. She even enjoyed meeting the mannequins until she realized they couldn’t pet her. Grape settled easily in the house to cool off and take a nap before heading back. She appears to know sit but only for treats (she doesn’t work for free) and takes treats gently. Grape is a happy, social butterfly who would love to be part of the family! |

06/08/2025 , I went on the Mutt Strutt Walk today 6/8! Grape was not interested in other dogs while on their walk. Grape’s energy level was medium, strength was strong for their size, and walking style would best be described as pulling, loose leashed. Grape’s personality was affectionate, curious, alert, excited, independent, friendly. Grape is not food motivated and takes treats gently. |
06/06/2025 Soft body and tail wagging. Placing "green" level due to kennel presence and intake notes. *** Interested parties should be counseled on proper dog intros. |
