About me Hi! I'm Rogue, a senior dog with a zest for life. I love to play and have a gentle spirit. I'm independent and brave, always ready for a new adventure. I know a few tricks like 'sit' and 'shake,' but I'm still perfecting my leash skills. I adore car rides, belly rubs, and splashing in the pool. I enjoy brushing sessions and don't mind bath time—they make me feel pampered! I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all my love and joy. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share in life's joys, I'm your girl. Let's make every day special together!

| 04/21/2026 Out for Purple training. Wiggly & affiliative w/ handlers, eager to come out, easily leashed, exited in a bound and pulled w/ firm pressure past reactive neighbors. Explored independently in yard at times, very social/engaging w/ handlers, took treats a bit clumsily & overeager initially but settled and began to take them with less haste. Will cue to sit & offer paw, will also offer them unbidden. Did bounce/pop up onto 2nd handler's lap but was very soft, remained at a calm, appropriate disposition. Flopped onto side & began to gesture w/ forelimbs at handlers, pushed face into neutrally offered hand, allowed petting to face, head, neck, chest, began kicking leg during chest scratches. Firm pull once again on return to kennel, generally hurried past reactive neighbors, did jump up to fence-fight briefly with closest neighbor, seemingly due to how close she has to pass to him in order to return to her own kennel. She did not persist or linger, almost did it w/out breaking stride back into kennel. Settled immediately once no longer exposed directly to reactivity, leash removed by hand. |
