About me Hi, I'm Ronald! I'm a curious and energetic buddy, always on the lookout for a new adventure or mystery to solve. My days are filled with playful antics, and I absolutely love splashing around in a pool. While I find the shelter a bit stressful, I never let it dampen my gentle and sweet spirit. I know plenty of tricks like 'sit' and have a fondness for chew toys that keep me busy. I adore playing and having fun, though I’m still learning the ropes on pulling less with the help of a harness on walks. I'm friendly, sweet, and gentle, making me a great companion for playful adventures or just relaxing together. If you're looking for a friendly and playful companion to bring joy and a touch of mischief into your home, I'm your guy!

| 08/07/2026 Out for Purple training. Soft & engaging w/ handles, fairly easily leashed, came out in a rush, some reciprocal reactivity for barking neighbors in passing but dog readily came away with handler, no pausing or lingering, gentle management of leash. Dog pulled w/ moderate pressure but not hard to manage. In the yard he was soft, social, prompted a great deal of petting from handlers, often sought additional, seemed to enjoy walking/standing/lounging in pool. After several minutes, his leash was easily reacquired, some hesitancy to walk on hot ground but followed handler's lead when she indicated an expedited pace over it. Again brief, in-passing reactivity to barking neighbors that did not seem a sincere attempt to go up to them. Dog went right back into kennel, leash removed by hand. |

Handler used moderate leash pressure to guide dog away. Dog pulled towards trash bag on sidewalk, grabbed bag in mouth, attempted to drag bag. Handler called dog away, led to yard. In yard, handler was able to adjust leash stopper, drop leash. Dog began pacing around yard, sniffing, wide-mouth panting. Appeared alert to outside surroundings and did not fully settle. After a few minutes, dog settled slightly, approached handler, panting. Handler was able to pet dog on back, retrieve leash. Dog stared outside of yard, appeared to notice reflection in window across the sidewalk; dog began alarm barking, tense body. Handler stepped back, called dog away. Dog broke focus, turned towards handler. Briefly jumped up with open mouth; handler kept distance. Handler attempted to place clip lead; dog began biting and pulling at clip leash, tail wagging.
