About me Hi, I'm Gibby! I love snuggling up for cuddles and exploring every nook and cranny with my curious nose. I'm known for my sweet nature and gentle ways, making friends wherever I go. Whether we're playing in the yard or relaxing at home, I'm always up for an adventure or a quiet nap by your side. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share your days with, I'm your guy. Let's make endless memories together!
04/03/2026 From foster: Gibby is doing great. His favourite treat is peanut butter and he loves to chew on pigs ears and sticks. Right now since the weather is nice we can do 3 - 5 walks a day.
02/14/2026 From the foster parent: Gibby is doing great and is really starting to get chunky as he does enjoy his food. He is such a good boy and very rarely barks.
01/18/2026 From the foster parent: Gibby is doing very well, His ear has seemed to have healed and he is getting vitamins for his skin and coat. He is very food motivated; this guy would wash dishes if he thought he could get a treat!
12/20/2025 FROM FOSTER: Gibby is very well trained, he can sit, stay and walk politely off leash by your side as long as they are no distractions. He patiently waits for permission before eating his dinner and has excellent manners over all. He enjoys playing fetch but isn’t high energy. His skin condition has cleared up and the hair has regrown back. He is house trained but will not let you know when he needs to go potty, he’s has a few accidents but that was our fault. Gibby is a quiet dog not a barker. He will pull somewhat on the leash and acts tough when passing other barking dogs in yards. He’s nosy and likes to stop and watch anything going on. He loves belly rubs and ear scratches and he doesn’t mind you touching his face or feet. He does very well with older tweens, we are unsure about young kids and other dogs. Like most dogs, the vacuum is very scary and he will go off and hide. Over all Gibby is a sweet, loyal affectionate, calm and well mannered companion.
11/29/2025 From foster: He’s very unsure with being outside in nature, our land backs up to the national forest and state land, lots of room for walks, he’s very nervous about walking around out there. We have also added sardines, sweet potato and chicken to his diet and it seems to be helping his skin issues around his feet.
11/26/2025 FROM FOSTER: He’s fitting in very well, food motivated and is very curious about everyone business. He likes scratches. We haven’t seen any other dogs so not sure how he is with that either. He has seen the cat but not showing any aggression. Or to the birds.
11/23/2025 From the foster parent: Sad Boi did very well last night and today, he’s a very good dog actually, very well trained.
11/17/2025 Solicited attentions, Easy to pull from kennel, Easy to return to kennel, Takes treats nicely, Easy/Loose Leash, Somewhat Pulls on Leash, Calm, Appeared interested when walking past kennels. Easy leashing in spite of the medical cone. Walked to the play yard on loose leash, occasional mild pulling. Received affection on the face and head from handler, and wagged tail madly from the joy of it! Sat for treats and took them politely. There was a dog barking on the other side of yard fence. He ran to the fence, tail wagging, and in a friendly way, wanted to go to that other dog. Reacted similarly when a staff member passed, wagging tail and walking along with her on opposite side of the fence. Put feet on handler's lap and tried to kiss handler's face. Sound of handler's voice made him wag his tail harder. Easy return. Sad Boi is a treat-loving, affectionate, friendly, outgoing boy!
