About me Hi! I’m Spruce, a young, energetic pup full of love and curiosity. Though I'm playful and sweet, I find the shelter a bit overwhelming, which makes me a bit shy and anxious. I'm working on my manners, and would thrive with some obedience training, but sometimes other dogs startle me. In my kennel, I feel a bit anxious and the shelter life stresses me out. I dream of a calm, loving home where I can blossom into my best self. If you're looking for a loyal friend to share in all of life's adventures, I'm your girl! Let's make a lifetime of memories together. My adoption fee is quite the deal! Not only do you get my unconditional love and a new BFF, it also includes my spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and even some cool coupons! Why wait? Come meet me today!
09/08/2026 From Foster: Miss Dolly is a wonderful coworker. She sits right by me, supervising my work day. Ensuring there is ample time scheduled in for scratches, pets and cuddles. She slept through the night in a crate in a room all to herself. I got her home last night amd she explored everything without any hesitation.
08/27/2026 FROM FOSTER: Dolly is an absolute doll! She had a bath, played in the yard and slept quietly all night in her kennel. She loves uses the doggie door and appears completely potty trained. She went for a walk and appeared non reactive to passing dogs. She absolutely loves her people and having her belly petted .

01/16/2026 FROM FOSTER: Spruce is adapting very well to our house, and she’s extremely well behaved. She’s coughing a little bit, but I was able to give her the medication once a day without any problems. She would even take the pill by herself, with no need to hide it in her food. When I walked her, she was very tense the entire time and only relaxed when we got back home. She leaned toward every person to get some pets, but she got anxious when dogs passed by. She didn’t bark once during the entire time she was with me. She is fully potty trained and didn’t do anything inside the house, only in the backyard. Whenever we say “no” to her, she calmly goes to her bed, and she has probably slept about 20 hours a day over the past days.
