| 04/22/2026 Dog was tense with high wagging tail, eyes wide, panting, took treats. Easy to leash, hard pull to yard, fence fought with reactive dogs in passing but continued walking without redirection. High energy in yard, affiliative with handler, soft body and wagging tail, jumped on lap soliciting attention, allowed petting all over. Interested in stuffed toy, would bring it to handler but didn't allow handler to take, lied down and began chewing on toy, settled, panting, eyes closing, remained calm. Allowed handler to approach and pick up leash, hard pull back to kennel, once again fence fought with other dogs in passing but continued walking without needing to redirect, easy return to kennel, allowed handler to remove leash by hand. *Potential adopters should be counseled on slow dog introductions, which should only occur after proper decompression time. |

| 01/13/2026 Dog was lying in bed, calm, eyes soft, slowly approached when offered treats, took gently from hand. East to leash and walk to yard, hackles raised and stiff wagging tail when walking past kenneled dogs, pulled briefly but was easy to redirect and continue walking. Affiliative with handler, approached with soft body and wagging tail, sat for treats, took gently, leaned into handler's legs and allowed petting all over. As another dog was walking by yard dog stopped and stared, tail flagged, body tense and alert, began to walk toward fence with wagging tail but didn't fully approach, returned to handler once other dog was out of sight, softened with wagging tail soliciting more attention. Able to pick up leash and walk back to kennel, easy return, allowed handler to remove leash by hand. *Potential adopters should be counseled on slow dog introductions and proper decompression time to help set dog up for success in new home. |

FINDER SAYS SHE PUT DOWN FOOD AND THE OTHER DOG THAT WAS NEXT TO THIS DOG ATTACKED THIS DOG IN THE FACE. FINDER SAYS THE OTHER DOG RAN OFF, AND THIS DOG JUMPED INTO HER CAR AND FELL ASLEEP RIGHT AWAY. --Has the animal been around other animals? What kind of animals? How would you describe the interaction with other animals?-- FINDER HAS CATS, SHE SAYS HE DID NOT ATTEMPT TO CHASE THEM. --Was the animal around any other people or children?
