Has the animal been around other animals? What kind of animals? How would you describe the interaction with other animals?: No other animals but when took for a walk barked at other dogs but did not interact with any other dogs.
Was the animal around any other people or children? If yes, how would you describe the animals behavior towards other people/children?: Only been around finder and has been friendly. Had 4 year old cousin come over that was yanking on her tail and did very well with child.
Has the animal shown any aggression around other people? Might want to include a few examples of what aggression looks like. Barking, growling, lunging, etc.? If yes, what were the circumstances?: None
Did you keep the animal inside or outside?: Inside apartment.
If inside, did you keep the animal in a crate or allowed to roam? Was the animal destructive in any way?: Free roam and no destruction.

4/22/2025 AM rounds- up by door, alarm barking; flagged tail; tense; would not settle

4/19/2025 AM Rounds - Rhythmic bark, all 4s at front, ears down/back, tail up/fast circle, hard stare at handler, spine straight, body stiff.

4/18/2025 Easy leash, allowed all petting and handling, jumped up for attention, soft wiggly body. Allowed booster with little to no restraint.

4/18/2025 PM K9 on all 4s, tail up and fast, rhymic bark, leaning forward, hard stare @handler, ears up and forward

4/18/2025 AM rounds- barking at neighbors but quieted when handler approached; high tail wag

4/9/2025 m&g: k9 was shaking with tail tucked at front of kennel. Handler knelt down and opened door to leash. K9 retreated to back of kennel. Handler closed guillotine door and knelt down to offer treats. K9 did not accept treats (hot dogs). K9 allowed for easy overhead leashing once secured in back of kennel and walked out with tail tucked. In m&g room, PA (1 adult, 1 teen, 1 boy, 2 younger girls) sat in chairs to allow k9 space to explore the room. K9 continued to shake. Handler offered to move m&g to the small dog PY to allow more space. In PY, k9's tail gradually became neutral and she allowed pets from the older children and handler. Easy return to kennel.

4/4/2025 Canine was in holding kennel, soft body and eyes, low tail wag; handler was able to easily place leash; walked to intake room; vaccines with minimal restraint; allowed petting all over and was affiliative; walked to kennel with mild/ moderate pull, but easily manageable due to size; did tense up and pull toward another dog in yard, but easily redirected; easy kennel return

Important: Dogs marked as “NHO Priority” can only be pulled by a New Hope Partner (NHP). New Hope Partners must select the animal through the portal no later than 5:30am the day after the animal’s deadline date. No extensions will be given.

Animals must be picked up by the NHP within 24 hours after the Pull date or prior to the close of business the day after the animal's deadline date, whichever comes sooner

Once a pull request has been made, the NHP will be sent a confirmation email. Only an authorized New Hope Representative may pick up the animal.

You will also need to communicate the reason why you were unable to use the automated system so we can address it.
