6/19/2025 Dog was sitting on bed, hunched over, ears pinned back, when approached. Hanlder offered treats; dog was uninterested. Handler presented leash, dog remained in same position on bed; handler stepped into kennel, slowly approached, and gave gentle pet on neck and back; handler muzzle wrapped and picked up dog; carried dog to play yard where two assistant handlers had brought dog's litter mates; dog immediately softened and began displaying loose, wiggly body language; engaged in play with litter mates. For most of the outing dog engaged in loose, gentle play with litter mates; would approach handlers from a short distance; play bow; then retreat when handlers reached out hands to pet or engage; eventually came close enough on his own to be pet along with his litter mates; had ears pinned back, body low to the ground, but not tense; appeared to be the least comfortable with petting. Handlers had to slowly approach to pick up leash; dogs tried to dodge handlers; after picking up leash, handlers encouraged dogs to walk alongside their littermates; dogs would not walk on leash so handler picked up dog and carried him back to kennel; had to be placed inside kennel by handler; allowed leash removal by hand.

6/19/2025 AM rounds- straight spine; cowered to ground when approached then retreated; avoided eye contact; ears constantly shifting

6/18/2025 Dog was laying down in corner when handler approached. Handler threw in treats to try and coax dog closer. Dog stayed at corner; Handler stepped into kennel to get closer; Handler was able to leash on first try. Handler opened door all the way and dog stepped out and walked around. Anytime handler tried to redirect to yard dog would pancake in place. IF handler walked behind dog dog would progress forward but pancaked in corner of room near door. Dog had soft stare and tail tucked; Handler spoke softly and picked up dog and carried to yard; dog allowed all handling stayed still in handlers arms and stayed calm; Once in yard dog did explore yard away from handler; anytime handler got near dog ; dog would pancake; Dog allowed all pets and attention and just looked at handler with soft stare; tail still tucked. Dog was avoidant whole time in PY. Handler would be sititng on bench and dog would be fartherest away at fence line. Handler tried to verbally coax and with treats with no luck; When time to return to kennel ; handler approached dog and dog would pancake again. Handler carried back to kennel and set down in kennel; dog laid there still; tail tucked; and allowed handler to remove leash by hand with no issues;
