7/13/2025 EET ROUNDS: Head low, tail tucked, yawned and was wary of handler passing by.
7/12/2025 Laying at front panting.
7/11/2025 Rounds: laying on ground by door door inside when approached from outside, soft stare, neutral body, not able to coax out
7/10/2025 EET Rounds: Laying quietly, noticed handler started to lick lips while curling front legs inwards & started to do a low growl.
7/9/2025 EET Rounds- Sitting at front of kennel, body still, sniffed hand, remained calm.
7/3/2025 Closed inside for AM cleaning. Dog retreated to divider as handler approached, tail tucked, stared at handler, not interested in hot dogs, unable to coax dog forward. Handler stepped into kennel, dog began to come forward but hesitated when presented with leash, took a few attempts to place leash due to dog being avoidant. Once leashed dog exited kennel, tail still tucked, wary of surroundings, stayed alongside handler but was hesitant to walk at times, used verbal coaxing to continue walking, took to grooming room. Flinched as handler reached down to place leash stopper, dog remained next to door the whole time, eventually lied down in front of door and stared at handler. Unable to coax dog over verbally or with hot dogs. After a moment handler approached, dog's tail was tucked, side eyed handler, ears back, pressed body against wall, skin crawled when touched, tolerated light petting, wouldn't take hot dogs offered from hand. Able to pick up leash and lift leash stopper, slow walk back to kennel, easy return, dog then retreated to back of kennel, able to step in and remove leash by hand.
7/2/2025 Dog was laying on bed as handler approached, not interested in treats tossed, stoic. Handler kneeled down and tried coaxing dog over but dog remained stoic watching handler. Handler presented leash and as door was being opened dog retreated to back of kennel with tail tucked, head low. Started to lay down as handler stepped into kennel, allowed handler to place large loop. Walked quickly out of kennel with some pulling, needed coaxing to direct to yard, will stop at times. In yard dog froze in place near entrance, would not come forward, stoic watching handler. Dog would lay down in place, handler picked leash up to help guide dog away from sun, dog laid back down not interested in coaxing, treats, or handler. Dog was easily startled by activity outside of yard, would flinch for loud noises. Dog would not let handler pet, would become stiff and back away. Picked leash up and walked dog back to kennel with no issues, better walk on leash but needed some coaxing. Walked right to kennel and used clip leash for leash removal.
