4/24/2025 04/24/25 18:08 This dog is experiencing significant stress and anxiety in the shelter, particularly while kenneled. These behaviors are often a response to the overwhelming sights, sounds, and confinement, along with the lack of choice or control over their environment. Although this dog continues to show appropriate behavior outside of the kennel with positive interactions with staff and volunteers,without intervention, well-being will continue to decline. Immediate placement is needed with an experienced adopter or New Hope Partner who can provide time and space to decompress in a calm, supportive home. Placement needed by close of business 4/29/25. May be at risk of euthanasia 4/30/25 or sooner if warranted.

4/24/2025 Placing up for adoption based off previous in shelter stay notes and canine only being gone for 24 hours. Adding 5+ age requirement due to minor resource guarding in the previous home. If adopted into a home wiht anohter dog, canine's should be fed seperately with a barrier between, such as different rooms with a closed door, or in crates.

4/20/2025 K9 soft body in intake room. Allowed all handling, allowed handler to pick k9 up to look for tattoo as well as k9 walked right onto scale. K9 mild pull on leash.

4/18/2025 AM Rounds - Diarrhea in kennel, slobber on door, BAR.

4/18/2025 Out for a meet and greet, Jumped up on kennel door, moderate to leash. Once out of kennel k9 hopped on two legs all the way to PY. High energy & hard pull, once in yard k9 solicited attention from PA and Handlers. Got zoomies in yard, lots of jumping, treat motivated, grabby at treats. Hard pull back to kennel, hopping on the way back, easy to kennel and remove leash.

4/18/2025 jumped on hind legs during pull from kennel, otherwise easy pull, hesitant on return, slight pull to and from PY, k9 got zoomies when in PY dashed all around PY, k9 jumped up on eldest child of PA (7,10,12) was easily redirected and didnt jump up again, tolerated being pet by whole family at once, not interested in balls just running around and being pet

K9 did zoomies and solicited lots of attention and pets. K9 took treats gently and had a super wiggly body. K9 walked back to kennel with same hard pull was zig zagging. Easy to return no issues

Patient has no nasal discharge, no ocular discharge, normal respiratory rate and effort, no coughing, no sneezing. No active CIRDC symptoms. Okay to move out of isolation and conclude therapy as previously prescribed.

A: - Signs of CIRDC noted upon exam. Likely viral etiology with secondary bacterial component.
