3/28/2025 Upon kennel approach, k9 had soft-wiggly body and started barking. Easy to leash and walk out of kennel, used moderate restraint and muzzle wrapped k9 to give booster. Walked back into kennel and retrieved leash with no issues.

3/22/2025 Nemo was interested and aware of other dogs while on their walk. Nemo’s energy level was high, strength was average for their size, and walking style would best be described as stop and go. Nemo’s personality was calm, gentle, affectionate, curious, alert, excited, friendly and Nemo sits on command. Nemo is not food motivated and not able to determine if take treats gently. 3/15/2025 Upon kennel approach, dog came up to handler with soft-wiggly body and tail wags, opened kennel and was able to leash dog with no issues, no pull on leash when walking to clinic, allowed all petting and handling, loves treats and peanut butter, walked back to kennel with no pull and was able to retrieve leash with no issues.

AD old aural hematoma, moderate purulent exudate, sensitivity. Frequent head shaking. INTEG - Coat is clean and clear of redness and ectoparasites. NEURO - Normal mentation and posture. M/S - Normal gait. No muscle atrophy or limping appreciated. A: - ongoing otitis externa AD: patient needs further diagnostics (i.e. cytology/culture) with family veterinarian in order to provide further appropriate treatment - patient may have ongoing otitis externa AD due to shape of pinna - patient is reportedly not tolerating topical ear medication at this time P: - cefpodoxime 5-10mg/kg PO q24h x 14d - ketoconazole 5-10mg/kg PO q24h x 14d - Patient is adoptable as long as adopter is aware of the medical needs stated in the record.
