4/22/2025 Closed outside for AM cleaning. Dog was stiff and hard stared with wide eyes when handler approached, took treats. Softened with wagging tail when presented with leash, easy to leash, moderate/hard pull to yard, zigzagged at times. Affiliative with handler, soft body and wagging tail, knows sit, down and paw, took treats gently. Jumped on lap and leaned into handler, allowed petting all over. No issues on the way back, easy return and leash removal.

Allowed a bandana placement

4/20/2025 she is more a green walker, came up to staff and volunteers for affection and ignored other dogs and birds on the walk, she just does not like her kennel as a GSD. she knows tricks and knows her name.

4/20/2025 Fence fightinh with next door kennel mate (Marvin). WHen handler approached, body became stiff, had wide eyes with a hard stare. As handler was moving away from kennel, dog jumped up and started barking while showing teeth. Body remained still and tail was high flagged.

4/8/2025 Dog had high arousal as handler approached, attention was directed towards neighboring dog but would settle and take treats gently with wagging tail as handler offered. Dog would switch between being wiggly with handler and stiff, barking while jumping on kennel wall to look at neighbor. Dog settled as handler presented leash, wagging tail and soft, would break attention and begin barking at neighbor. When dog settled allowed handler to place leash with no issues. Walked with strong pull, some zig zag on way to lower play yard, no signs of interest or reactivity to dogs in passing. In play yard dog had wiggly body, loose wagging tail, and ears up while exploring in yard, would solicit attentions with handler and accept pets all over, leaning in for more pets. Dog would take teats from handlers hand gently, followed handler around yard and would sit if stopped, placed paw out when offered treats. Dog had loose body, wagging tail as another dog entered lower play yard area. Dog had soft body, neutral body and followed dog through gate with wagging tail. dog would follow where other dog was in neighboring yard but remained soft, wagging tail. Came to handler when called over and would accept pets, no issue breaking away dog from following other dog. Allowed handler to pick up leash and walked back to kennel with less pull on leash. Walked right into kennel and allowed handler to reach in to remove leash.

4/8/2025 Alarm barking and leaping high in kennel. Panting Easy to leash. Walked well to yard. In yard, settled. Sought attention. Walked to covered kennel. Entered kennel. Allowed leash removal.

We rest in the shade, she laid down and relaxed. very calm. loved pets all over.

3/19/2025 Pup was at front of kennel alarm barking, ears alert and erratic in kennel when handler approached. Pup began circling in kennel and going in and out of divider low growling but would settle briefly when handler kneeled in front of kennel coaxing. Pup was not interested in treats tossed in kennel and divider was closed when pup was standing on bed. Pup had head low and tail tucked as handler presented leash, pup sniffed leash and slowly moved to back of kennel, allowed handler to step in and lasso with no issues. Walked with easy/medium pull to play yard, not interested in dogs in passing. In play yard pup had soft body, tail wagging when following handler to bench. Leaned in for pets and became wiggly, yawned and accepted pets all over. Pup did not move from bench area when handler walked around yard but would solicit attentions when handler walked near pup. Pup leaned in for more pets as handler sat back down. Pup ate treat gently from handlers hand and followed handler to play yard gate, allowed handler to reach down to grab leash. Walked back to kennel with easy pull on leash. Walked right into kennel and immediately laid down on bed, allowed handler to reach in and remove leash.

3/18/2025 Dog began lunging and alarm barking as soon as handler entered building. Continued alarm barking as handler got closer to kennel. Tossed treats. Dog settled to sniff treats. Did not eat treats. Dog looked at handler. Ears back, stiff, and head lowered. Handler was able to lasso leash without any issues. Dog exited kennel. Exiting building dog shook off. Moderate pull to play yard. In yard, dog paced for a moment then approached handler. Allowed for petting. Lip licking. Circled in yard for a couple moments while panting. Approached handler and yawned. Leaned into handler. Placed head on handler's lap. Allowed for petting. Sat next to handler. Panting and occasionally yawning. Allowing for petting entire time. Walked well back to kennel. Entered kennel. Allowed leash removal.

3/15/2025 as handler was walking past dog lunged forward and began to alarm bark never settled. out of kennel evaluation needed.

3/12/2025 dog was growling at ASO, then got up and ran down to the park, would not get close to allow leash, net used to catch dog, leash then placed and dog walked to truck without issue, placed in kennel without issue.
