4/22/2025 Closed outside for AM cleaning. Dog backed away as handler approached, slowly came forward with verbal coaxing, soft body and wagging tail, took treats. Easy to leash, hard pull towards reactive dog in yard, growling, hackles raised, used leash pressure to redirect and continue walking, took to lower play yard. Dog was affiliative with handler, jumpy at times but sat for treats, took gently. Allowed petting all over. Approached fence as another staff member approached, soft body and wagging tail, solicited attention. Moderate/hard pull on the way back, pulled towards reactive dogs on the way back, easy return, while removing leash dog became still with ears back but allowed handler to remove leash by hand. *Needs High Fenced Yard

4/20/2025 Pet was in m&g yard when pet noticed volunteer walking dog. Pet scaled the fence and proceeded to run towards C & D. Handler was able to corner pet and coax him to handler to secure him safely.

4/16/2025 Playful, Easy to pull from kennel, Easy to return to kennel, Grabby at treats, Somewhat Pulls on Leash, Appeared interested when walking past kennels, easy to leash and pull from kennel, walked fast outside to trail. Went potty right away. Moderate pulling but listened well to leash training. Sat calmly pressed next to my leg while talking to guest outside. Can be a little jumpy. easy return. Wagged tail at dogs barking close by.

4/1/2025 Solicited attentions, Playful, Moderate to pull from kennel, Easy to return to kennel, Not interested in toys, Grabby at treats, Stop and go, Calm, Ignored dogs when walking past kennels, Sit, Dog would not come in to be leashed, so approached from outside and was easy pull. Likes people and wants to jump on them to initiate play. Easy return to his kennel.

3/27/2025 AM rounds- staying in outer portion of kennel and would not come forward

3/26/2025 Approached front of kennel, closed K9 into rear of kennel. Approached back of kennel, Handler gave treats, K9 accepted. K9 had soft eyes, ears forward, natural neutral stance. Cracked door presented leash, attempted to leash; dodged leash four times and was able to leash successfully. K9 walked out of kennel on his own; stop and go to yard due to sniffing spots on the ground. Tail straight down body soft and neutral. Teeth chattering when smelling urine on way to yard. Once at yard threshold, handler treat trailed K9 through first threshold, K9 urinated in yard for a few minutes. Moderatly raised tail when walking around yard, came when handler called with a soft loose body, swaying tail, soft facial features allowed petting alongside back, side, butt, neck and head. K9 began roaming yard, soliciting attention from handler multiple times. K9 was not interested in fetch, treat motivated. Demonstrated "sit" for handler. K9 stepped on his own leash, attempted to move and couldnt K9 attempted to put leash in his mouth, let go when handler said no. Handler approached and picked up leash, with no issues. Walked out of yard no issues, on way to kennel K9 pulled towards kennels neck outstretched with a soft tail wag. Appears to be interested in other dogs. K9 appeared to be hesitant in returning to kennel, handler coaxed K9 in with treats. Removed leash no issues.

3/22/2025 AM rounds- staying in back

3/22/2025 Hanlders went to outside door. At first this K9 presented with hunched, stiff body stance, tense musculature, tail down, wide-eyed with focused stare on handler low-growling. Handler started feeding K9 treats with K9 readily accepting them. At one point K9 jumped paws up on door to accept treats. K9 got down and Handler leashed while K9 was facing door with head lowered. Going to yard K9s tail was down, tense musculature, wide eyes, hunched back, stop and go avoiding handlers with head down. Handlers treat trailed K9 to yard. In yard Handler was not comfortable dropping leash. K9 was avoidant, lip licking, wide-eyed, tense musculature, hunched back, and grabby with treats. Handler walked in yard with K9 who remained avoidant of eye contact unless treats were involved. Handler allowed K9 to guide handler while walking. K9 and handler explored with K9s boy still hunched, tense musculature, stopping with any leash pressure, avoiding interaction. K9 then guided handler down fenceline and softened a bit. came to bench and took treats gently from 2nd handler, 2nd handler pet K9 on head and back, K9 sat for treats. K9s body was softer, muscles relaxed, and eyes softend to normal. K9 walked back to kennel hunched, and avoidant. Treat trailed to kennel and used clip leash to get leash back.

3/21/2025 AM rounds- retreated to rear of kennel; defensive barking form outer portion

3/20/2025 AM rounds- moved to back half; began alarm barking; would not come forward

3/20/2025 Officer were approached by kennel staff that they needed assistance leashing a dog in a play yard. Dog was stiff body, hackles raised, and barking at officers when approached in the yard. Dog ran away from officers, was able to get confined in a smaller section of the yard. Dog had his ears pinned backed, however allowed to be slowly leashed and walked back to kennel on leash, slight stop and go on leash. Upon leash removal dogs hackles were raised and ears were pinned back, removed leash with stick for precaution, dog tolerated with no issues.

3/19/2025 AM rounds- hiding in back

3/18/2025 Ran away at my approach, went to finder's house and pawed at the front door a few times. Panting, licking lips, shied away from me and walked away when I offered hand to sniff. Was familiar with finder and gave wagging tail, came to her when she came outside. I placed slip leash when dog was turned from me, dog stiffened and would not walk. Walked to truck with coaxing from finder, stopped a few times and mouthed at leash but stopped when given verbal command. I muzzle wrapped/lifted onto truck with no struggle. Allowed light petting on truck but turned/leaned away from my hand, whined and pulled away from chip scanner.

3/18/2025 tail tucked, hard stare, ears back, stiff, low growled at male ACO when walking into room, nervous, didnt take treats offered, moderate restraint for vaccines.
